In January 2005 the Group invested in HQB Partners as a start-up operation. HQB is an independent proxy solicitation and corporate governance advisory partnership. They assist companies by providing direct communication with their shareholder base to convey the corporate or transaction message and gather investor response. Additionally, they can analyse investor attitudes and policies to guide a company’s internal corporate governance. HQB has expertise in identifying and communicating with investors of all types, from private retail holders to major investing institutions from all jurisdictions. They provide advice on, but not limited to, AGMs, EGMs and Mergers & Acquisitions.
